Yahoo! Bookmarks! 2.0!

Yahoo is launching a substantially overhauled version of their Bookmarks service. I am not in any way dismissing the great work that has been done on it but I find it odd that Yahoo! is providing two platforms: a social one (del.icio.us) and a personal one (Yahoo! Bookmarks). I’m still not entirely happy with the solution but I use basic browser bookmarks (synched using Foxmarks) for quick productivity links (e-mail, calendar, etc…) and del.icio.us for everything else. What’s your setup?

I use regular bookmarks (via the browser) for stuff I use daily/weekly. I use del.icio.us for things I want to save and possibly pick up weeks or months from now… mostly design or development related tips/tricks/etc.

I only bookmark things in Firefox that I find and want to go back and read. For those lasting bookmarks I use del.icio.us with easy posting help from Pukka.

I am all Google – my Firefox bookmarks (and history) are being synchronized between my computers by Google Browser Sync Firefox extension, and I also use Google Bookmarks service with unofficial GMarks Firefox extension which can display all my Google Bookmarks in the sidebar.
