This is good news: IE8 now passes the Acid2 test, the notoriously fiendish (and some say academic) right of passage for any ‘truly compliant’ web browser. Now if they would just drop IE7’s stupid UI it could actually be a great browser.

I’m with you there. IE7’s UI is incredibly counter-intuitive.
