"Remote Research" Book Giveaway Winners Announced

By Jonathan Anderson / July 15th 2010

Remote Testing coverThanks to everyone who participated in the Rosenfeld Media & UX Magazine giveaway contest for five copies of Nate Bolt and Tony Tulathimutte's book, Remote Research (2010). About the book:

Remote studies allow you to recruit subjects quickly, cheaply, and immediately, and give you the opportunity to observe users as they behave naturally in their own environment. In Remote Research, Nate Bolt and Tony Tulathimutte teach you how to design and conduct remote research studies, top to bottom, with little more than a phone and a laptop.

We asked people to enter by posting a tweet telling us what products they use (or want to use) to conduct remote research testing. Here's what our five winners said:

@hepcatrayo: "I use Morae and GoToMeeting"

@beelzebuddha: "I use WebEx

@mcasburn: "I use Usabilla"

@mojoguzzi: "I use Silverback/Skype"

@ischagast: "I use Usabilla"

Thanks to our friends at Rosenfeld Media for helping us put on this contest. We'll certainly do more in the future, so watch this space!
